Clouds & Spacid

Shift, Squadron & Badbox join forces to give you an intense night of techno, electro and house, featuring none other than Clouds (live) togther with Spacid. All this happening on the 20th February at the legendary Liquid Club. You sure as hell won’t be thinking of missing this one.

CLOUDS live (Turbo Recordings // UK)

Clouds are Scots Calum Macleod and Liam Robertson. With a sound that has seen steady development from frenzied banger to subtle, inventive techno, they have garnered huge support from the reigning heavyweights of electronic music… it’s not often that an artist can count a list of artists like Richie Hawtin, The Chemical Brothers, Marcel Dettmann, Michael Mayer, Sven Vath, Chris Liebing, Boys Noize and Martin Gore as ardent supporters.

Part of Turbo Recordings core of young ‘New Jack Techno’ artists, Tiga has championed their first releases, paving the way for a breakthrough year in 2013. Most significantly, the duo released their debut album and it’s a brilliant and subtle collection of techno that comfortably situates them in the same league as UK masters Actress and Zomby. Increasingly versatile, Clouds centre themselves with a foundation of powerful, big-room techno, but they skillfully incorporate influences that range from UK bass music, electro, and house.

SPACID (Kozzmozz // Belgium)

Spacid is a real ambassador of the vibrant club scene, both his quest for innovation and his reverence for the past transpire in his work as a dj. He comes with a colorful 25 years of dj-ing experience and is known to be one of the most versatile DJs in the electronic circuit. He’s not tied down to just one style, his sets can vary from Electro to jacking Chicago house, Techno, Acid, Italo Disco, you name it.
